Ripa is known for a wide range of roles including Faith Fairfield on ABC's sitcom Hope & Faith and Hayley Vaughan in ABC's daytime soap drama All My Children. Since 2001, she's co-hosted a morning show called "Live With Kelly & Ryan". Along with her husband Mark Consuelos, Ripa owns a production company based in New York known as Milojo. Kelly Maria Ripa is the daughter of Esther Ripa of Joseph Ripa who was a union bus driver president. Her birthplace was and was raised in Berlin, New Jersey. Linda Ripa is Ripa's sister, is an author of children's novels. Ripa is a Catholic and her father has been the Democratic County Clerk of Camden County in New Jersey from 2009. Her family was the first in the profession of acting. As a young girl, she began studying ballet. Also, she plays the piano. Ripa has graduated from Eastern Regional High school in New Jersey as a high-school cheerleader, was also a as a member of the Eastern Regional High Student Body. Her encouragement to pursue acting through her drama teacher in high school. Her senior year was when she got noticed when she appeared in "The Ugly Duckling" in a production of an area theatre. Later, she attended Camden County College in order to major in psychology. She eventually then left to move in New York City.
