Jessica Barden is an English actress, who gained fame in her role of Alyssa in the comedy-drama show The End of the F***ing World from 2017 through the year 2019. In March 2007 she started performing the role of Kayleigh Morton in the ITV soap series Coronation Street continuing until September 2008 at which point the Morton family departed Coronation Street. In 2007 Barden made her debut in film in the comedy-drama Mrs Ratcliffe's Revolution. In 2009 she played in the role of Pea on stage in the show Jerusalem which was staged at the Royal Court Theatre in London prior to being moved to the Apollo Theatre in the West End.
