Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson (born in 1961) is a former American actor. Elson started her career in television as a child model as well as actress. Her most well-known character is Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson on CBS' science fiction series. Andrea was a contestant and landed the part as Lynn Tanner on the hit show ALF (1986). She continued to work throughout her career on popular TV shows as well as Movies of the Week before leaving the entertainment business to concentrate on her family. People magazine published a retrospective of Elson's career in the year 2000. Elson said being a teenager in the spotlight was not easy. Born on March 6, 1969 in New York City, this green-eyed actress was a frequent traveler as a result of her father's position in the field of advertising. Before she was ten years old she had lived throughout New York Chicago San Diego and Los Angeles. Andrea found an agent in San Diego and won her audition to play the role she wanted for her debut. Fusco supported the show's premise, saying that "ALF is 285 years old, he can drink beer he's old enough. As ALF gained more popularity with young children, NBC stated to Fusco you can't have him drinking when the children are watching it's a bad role model. Fusco was of the opinion that ALF could drink alcohol even when he was an adult. The diagnosis of his lymphoma first came in the year 1995. Fusco underwent a successful treatment and was in complete remission through 2019. Then, in Englewood New York at the Lillian Booth Actors Home on the 26th June, 2019the actor of 75 years died due to the cancer.
