Emily Bett Rickards was born in July 1991. She is a Canadian Actress best known as Felicity in The CW's TV show Arrow. Rickards, who was raised within British Columbia, is Canadian. She began her acting career in the early years of her life by studying musical theatre, dance and other forms of entertainment. After graduating early from high-school She enrolled in Vancouver Film School and completed the Acting Essentials program. Through the open audition which followed it was discovered that an agent had been found for her. Alida Vocal Studio was her school of choice in Vancouver. Her initial intention was to perform in an episode of the series, but her positive reactions from fans and her ability to sarcasm was the catalyst for her to first appear as a guest-star, then, as a co-star for the remainder of season 1.
