Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress as well as a producer, playwright, as well as an educator in St. Thomas University. Her father hails from Britain and her mother is a "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England."
